“Favorites”

This commission was for a woman’s daughter. The daughter lived in San Francisco, designed charcuterie boards, and that bottle of wine is her favorite.

When I met with the mother, she wanted to surprise her daughter with a painting of her favorite things.

I was given a photograph of one of the daughter’s charcuterie boards, and then I sketched out my idea of a way to incorporate that with San Francisco and the wine.
