The inspiration for this painting came after a passing rainstorm, when the sky seemed to change by the minute, each passing moment more beautiful than the last. Out on the water, a single sailboat rested against the colorful sky, naturally drawing my attention.

Rather than simply painting a sunset, I wanted to capture the richness of the colors, the reflections on the water, and the quiet beauty of a moment that felt worth remembering.
